Comics, Heroes, and American Visual Culture offers a selection of comic and superhero art drawn from the Dan F. and Barbara J. Howard Collection of American Popular Art consisting of over 100 works, donated to the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery through the University of Nebraska Foundation in 2000.
