Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in volunteering at the Freeport Art Museum? There are many opportunities available including, but not limited to:
| Docent | Lead guided tours of the museum, click here to download a docent form |
| Baker | Bake cookies for a special event or meeting |
| Carpenter | Assist with woodworking, and building |
| Cleaner | Help to clean after special events |
| Gallery Attendant | Greet visitors, answer phones and assist with extra office projects |
| Gardener | Help maintain the FAM's landscaping |
| Gift Shop | Help organize and sell merchandise at the Gift Shop |
| Movers | Help to move objects in the collection |
| Painter | Help to paint gallery and other FAM walls |
| Special Events | Help to plan special fundraising events |
| Teacher | Assist in teaching hands-on art workshops |
| Technical Assistant | Assistance in operating and maintaining computer network |

Internship Opportunities
The Freeport Art Museum regularly offers semester and summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of Museum Education and Collections Management.
