The Contemporary Gallery, located on the second floor of the FAC, will at times feature drawings, mixed media, paintings, prints, photography, and sculpture from the 20th and 21st century. Some installations are drawn from the permanent collection while others highlight the work of emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Collection holdings include the work of prominent regional artists including J. Eric Anderson, Merl Blackwood, and E. Dale Erickson, as well as international artists including Joan Miró, Alexander Calder and Georges Braque.
