10 Tours
Each tour is developed to meet Illinois state learning goals and standards for grades K-12
- FAM docents are trained to emphasize age-appropriate concepts and to encourage object-based learning.
- Teachers have the option of adding a hands-on activity related to the guided tour for an additional cost.

Cost:
The cost of guided tours is $1.00 per person.
A related Hands-On Workshop can be added for $3.00 per person.

Featured Student Tour
Native American Experience

Ideal for 4th graders learning about Illinois!
This tour provides a focused study of the history and the artistic traditions of Native North & South American cultures. An introduction to the belief systems and values of Native cultures is another important element of the tour. Students will be encouraged to discuss and compare the variety of art production as seen in the objects in the FAM’s Native American collection.
