Have Art - Will Travel

Have Art - Will Travel is the FAC art education outreach program. The Education Coordinator is available to visit your classroom, organization or business to give an art talk about the FAC collection, exhibitions, or an art topic of your choice and will present a corresponding hands-on art activity to your group. Recent topics have included: African masks and modern African-American artists, Native American art and basket weaving, decorative arts and modern handbags. Art in-a-Box

Art in-a-Box is a ready-made classroom kit with lesson plans, objects, poster-sized images, vocabulary lists and activities for teachers to use. Each Art in-a-box is available free to check out for a 2-4 week period. Starting in Fall 2007 the Antiquities Experience will be readily available for teachers.
